Billionaire Oracle founder Larry Ellison listed his North Palm Beach home for a whopping $165 million.

The tech titan paid $80 million for the 8.4-acre property in 2021, and listed it for sale a year later asking $145 million. It’s inside the gated Seminole Landing community. The Wall Street Journal first reported Ellison’s intention to relist.

The asking price is a record for North Palm Beach and pencils out to over $10,000 per square foot, or $19.6 million per acre. Built in 1991, the house spans 16,300 square feet with seven bedrooms, eight bathrooms and five half-baths. It has more than 550 feet of water frontage.

Paul Kaneb and James Kenny of K2 Realty have the listing, which notes the oceanfront estate is prime for a teardown or expansion.

Gabe Hoffman, who heads the activist hedge fund Accipiter Capital Management, sold the compound to Ellison. Hoffman paid $17.5 million for the property in 2012, records show.

The estate is one of several Ellison-owned properties in Palm Beach County as the billionaire expanded “landmaxxing” efforts over the past five years. In 2022, he paid $173 million for his principal Manalapan estate, which he expanded this year with a $34.4 million land purchase.

In 2023, he scooped up eight homes for his family’s staff in a Boynton Beach suburban neighborhood for a combined $10 million.

Three homes along the same stretch of North Palm Beach beachfront sold for $30 million, $40 million and $41.8 million in 2020 and 2021. The community is adjacent to the Seminole Golf Club.

Kenny and Kaneb brokered the $27.5 million sale at 11800 Turtle Beach Road, also in North Palm Beach, in August. The boutique brokerage works primarily on luxury properties on the north side of the county, in North Palm Beach, Jupiter and Palm Beach Gardens.
